Thank you for sharing this, Jessica. Reading about your work and the families you supported really hit me… especially because cultivating gratitude as a practice, even in dark times, is so powerful. I love how you show it doesn’t cancel grief, but walks alongside it, hand in hand, almost like the comfort you feel when someone sits with you in your grief without judgment. (Another thing to be grateful for — would you look at that, I’m practicing already! 🙂)

Your experiences are a profound reminder to cherish small moments and to say thank you more often. Much gratitude to you for your healing hands and heart; it shines through in your writing.

This is incredible Jessica, I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude lately and you are so right. It means even more in the harder times.

Thank you Jessica. You are describing my philosophy: I live a life of Gratitude. I've had dark times in my life, when I've lived from moment to moment. Anxious, disconnected, often alone. As I got through -- with the help of a committed therapist, and people who cared -- I began grasping and understanding those moments of gratitude. I gave a talk at my synagogue just a few weeks ago - on gratitude - and how people were appreciative of being reminded of the practice. As you are reminding us. So very important. And you express it so well - gratitude along side the pain. Thanks again. Blessings to you.

Thank you so much, Jay! I truly appreciate you. I know you what you mean by being in dark times and taking it one day at a time to one hour at a time. I work with a therapist as well and it has been life changing. Beautiful work on giving a talk on gratitude. So many people needed your message. Thank you and blessings to you as well.

Thank you Jess! My dog passed away a few days ago and I needed to be reminded of this. Im grateful for the 9 years spent together and everything he was able to experience with me and help me get through. I’m also grateful for the MFG, allowed me to get more income and have him in my life for longer.
